Assignment 2- Greeting Card

The idea of creating a greeting card for any celebration such as Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation etc gave me a good inspiration to design a greeting card for my lovely sister which will be getting married soon. The size of the greeting card is been done in A4 size

The final design of my poster is as below : 

The description of my design : 

God has made the right person to be together as one without we realising it happen in front of our eyes. So I did put the couple above in a Love Heart shape. I did also add some vector lines to the design.

Step 1 : The Rough Design (Early Plan) 

I had plan as the design above really suits my greeting card. Being about having two people being one I decided to use the couple's pic in one love heart.

I did also want to add more vector lines as the background as it will be realistic.

The placement of my ID number will be my text of tagline in wishing the couple.

(did not think of the tagline yet :-) )

Step 2 : Deciding the colour

Love : Should be red.suggest with chili red

Background : plan to put dark maroon as the chili red love will be highlited easy

Flowers : should put white but it doesnt seem to realistic :-)

Banner : Gold Yellow

Line Vectors : Black

Step 3 : The main key to the design

arrow A is used to type words...it is call as type tool (T)
arrow B is to fill the color inside the alphabet
arrow C is the color of the line for the alphabet
arrow D is type of font
arrow E is size of font
arrow F is align center...to make those alphabet in center..

I would like to say that my knowledge is just been recently as my venture in the world of Computer Graphics.

Would be practicing myself more in Photoshop skills no matter I am in Engineering line.
